Matteo Mandelli, also known as YOU, works where material presence meets digital perception.
Matteo Mandelli is a contemporary multidisciplinary artist whose research moves across conceptual art, performance, installation and digital culture. His works often use mirrors, screens, recovered materials and public interventions to question how bodies, technologies and environments shape the act of seeing.
The practice is built around encounters: between viewer and surface, physical object and digital signal, personal experience and collective space. Projects such as The Contact, Fioriture Sintetiche, Cybercarpets and Spira Humana extend this research through works that are both provocative and constructive, opening reflection on sustainability, intimacy and technological change.
